Our Approach

Personalized, Evidence-Based Care.

Mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Thoughtful medication management
  • Collaborative treatment planning
  • Clear communication and education
  • Respect for each patient's preferences and goals

Medication decisions are made carefully and conservatively, with ongoing monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness.

We believe patients deserve to feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their care.

Dr. Mariam Qureshi, MD

Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Mariam Qureshi is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with over fifteen years of experience. She graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

She has a decade of experience of treating the severest of mental illnesses. She has worked in a variety of settings and has almost 14 years of experience working with telemedicine. Dr. Qureshi provides care for adults and adolescents ages 12 and up, specializing in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and life transitions.

Her approach is collaborative and patient-centered. She believes treatment is not just about medications being the "cure-all" to one's ailments; she believes that helping patients find their purpose, their meaning, and their calling are all intrinsic to healing the psyche and the ultimate path to well-being.

Outside of work, Dr. Qureshi enjoys reading literature, exploring new cuisines, and traveling.

She is currently accepting new patients and is in-network with most major commercial insurances.

Yes β€” we verify your benefits before scheduling so there are no surprises.

We can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurance.

Insurance plans often include out-of-pocket costs such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. You will be responsible for these amounts based on your specific plan, and they are typically due at the time of your visit. We aim to make this process as transparent as possible and will provide a good-faith estimate beforehand.

Practice Policies

We require 24–48 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or missed visits β€” including new patient appointments β€” may incur a fee.

We offer limited urgent slots when available. For emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We currently treat patients ages 12 and older.

Care Approach

We treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, sleep issues, and more. See our Services section for the full list.

We focus on medication management and brief supportive therapy along with holistic improvements for mental health. If you need specialized therapy such as CBT or DBT, we can make appropriate referrals.

We offer thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care with minimal wait times and evidence-based practices. In a mental health landscape where many psychiatrists are cash-pay only, we accept most insurances. This is an MD-led practice with a physician who has over a decade of experience β€” you will be in good hands.

Logistics & Privacy

All forms are completed online before your first visit through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. These forms must be completed prior to your appointment, or your appointment may be subject to cancellation.
